2014「點・心設計邀請展」-【見本】 2014 Dian Shin / Design Exhibition - Fundamentals
「點･心設計邀請展」開始於2006年，以設計策展，集合來自全台各領域的設計師共同參與，透過設計作品反應主題，嘗試以不同的題材與台灣的生活文化對話。自2011年在台南的策展-「五十禮」及「五十禮＋」，感受到一股熱烈支持原創嘗試的力量，而在去年的「寶用」起，主題回歸至最基礎的生活當中，找到未來更有品質的生活方式，表達出我們對生活的美好想像。具台灣觀點的設計，不再只是設計師心中的海市蜃樓，而是一股能集眾人之力，開啓更多未來可能的能量。
邁入第八年的「點・心」，以「見本」為展覽主題，邀請大家一起探見設計的根本。 「見本」一方面致力將概念表達為完整的商品，展出作品都已如「樣品」般成熟；另一方面也不要忘記設計創作的根本價值，真誠面對設計的社會職責，是要真實地提升人的生活品質，讓社會朝向品質與品味兼具的生活邁進。
“Dian Shin / Design Refreshment” established in 2006, was set up to explore subjects of local culture and life. It gathers passionate designers around Taiwan with the same vision of an explorative topic through such annual design exhibition. During our curatorial programs from 2001 in Tainan, “Fifty Manners” and “Fifty Manners Plus”, we have received great support from our participants o the originality of designers’ works. Last year, the theme “Treasure Trove” showcased practical and aesthetic design of common items for daily use. We also hope to redefine the basic design in things that we might easily ignore or take for granted. Design from a Taiwanese point of view is no longer a mirage which only existed in a designer’s mind ; It unites the strength from people to continue realizing its full potential.
“Dian Shin / Design Refreshment” has officially entered its 8th year. The purpose of this year, fundamentals, is leading users to comprehend the value of our products and the fundamentals of design. Not only quality is concerned but also its positive influence on our daily life.
